Description: The Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights investigates complaints of discrimination in Minneapolis. Complaints must be filed within one year of the alleged discrimination.

The Department monitors contractors with City contracts in excess of $50,000 to ensure that they are in compliance with equal opportunity and affirmative action guidelines.

The department also coordinates the Small & Underutilized Business Program. The Department provides educational services about civil rights.
